National Journal on Will Vehrs.

The National Journal’s Beltway Blogroll has picked up the story of Will Vehrs’ suspension, thus assuring that Martinsville looks silly to an ever-larger audience. Note that Beltway Blogroll editor Danny Glover is speaking at the Blog Summit.

  1. His suspension is disappointing, and the reasons for it even more ridiculous. Internet abuse on company time is the “catch all” every company uses to “spank” or “rid themselves” of an employ that has become troublesome for them, but for whom the company feels they may lack solid grounding to take action against. So voila “Internet abuse.”

It wasn’t a problem until he said something they didn’t want to hear. Shame on them.
