The Chicago Tribune actually had a really good story on this subject February 11th of this month. The practice according to the article is called “Throttling” where heavy renters do not get access to their top choices, or to the very newest (and hence most popular) releases. It even has links to some websites that did comparison testing. It’s worth checking out.
