Ironically, the cartoonist’s first name is Christian, which could lead to some interesting twists of language in your title.
I’m a Christian and I find some of the comics to be offensive, but I believe the call to turn the other cheek prohibits us from violent protest even in cases of blasphemy. As an aside, I wouldn’t conflate Conservative and Christian.
It’s my understanding that the people who are unhappy about this are politically conservative, but that’s through the rumor mill — friends down at Radford.
I’m a bit confused, is someone comparing the Christian response to the Radford cartoon with the rioting and killing in the Middle East?
