It was four years ago today — December 22, 2001 — that Ado Annie came to live with us. This picture was taken mere seconds after she was unloaded from her airplane shipping crate, delivered to us from Oklahoma at nine weeks of age.
She seems to be working out.

After making the rounds of todays news outlets, a little unconditional love, loyalty and cold-nosed compassion in a tangible form is nice.
