Bob Gibson writes in the Daily Progress that Sen. Russ Potts has filed suit to be included in Sunday’s debate. His claim is that UVa’s Center for Politics, who is holding the debate, is obliged to include him as a First Amendment matter, because the organization receives federal funding.
If that logic holds, then I demand that I be included, too. Yes, it’s pathetic that Jerry Kilgore doesn’t have the balls to debate Potts, but that’s not Larry Sabato’s problem.
