Kilgore photoshops Kaine’s head onto a sheep.

There’s nasty campaigning, and then there’s photoshopping your opponent’s head onto a sheep. Jerry Kilgore is running this four-frame ad on The National Review right now:

Dude. I know you’re upset about having your ass handed to you by Tim Kaine in last week’s debate. You got spanked soundly, and you’re upset. But there are boundaries here. You start photoshopping my man Tim Kaine’s head onto a sheep, and it’s gonna get ugly. Don’t make me get all Worth 1000 on your ass.

Three snaps in a Z formation.

  1. Isn’t advertising in NRO preaching to the choir? It seems to me that the choir is pretty well tuned up and it’s the middle that needs wooing, but that’s just my feeling which isn’t necessarily based on facts…

  2. The ad links to the front page of Kilgore’s site, and not to a special national donation page, which surprised me. If Kaine were advertising on Talking Points Memo, I’d be real disappointed if the ad just went to the front page of Kaine’s website, washing people up on the campaign’s shores.
