Kilgore on WINA.

Host Coy Barefoot will have Republican candidate for governor Jerry Kilgore on his show from 9:30am-10:00am on WINA tomorrow (Thursday) morning. Locals should be sure to tune in.

Extra special bonus points for anybody who asks this:

Jerry Kilgore believes that sexual orientation is a “choice.”

Two points to the first reporter to ask Jerry Kilgore when and how he made the decision to be heterosexual, and what specific aspects of homosexuality appealed to him during that decision making process.

I’m going to be on the road, on the way up to Connecticut for a wedding, so I’ll miss the fun. I’ve got some blog entries scheduled to go up over the next few days, though, so it’ll be as if I’m still around.

How creepy would it be if I died, and blog entries kept going up?

Oh, man. That’s gonna be bad luck. I just know it.

  1. Let me translate from the radical right propaganda machine:
If homosexuality is a choice then the reason people make the “wrong” choice
and become homosexuals is bad parenting. This is the real excuse that the
right gives for limiting access to marriage rights for homosexuals: homosexual
parents can’t possibly be expected to give their kids “proper” guidance away
    from the evils of homosexuality.

Does Kilgore actually have a single individual idea or was he crafted, stamped,
molded and branded by the most extremist faction of right-wing idealogues?

Please, somebody tell me one thing that Kilgore says or does that is
    remotely mainstream.
