Everything old is new again.

The Who, on the matter of Kilgore & co. partying like it’s 1996:

I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
We don’t get fooled again
Don’t get fooled again
No, no!

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss

  1. Great post. I’m a longtime Who fan – so any Who reference is music to my ears. Plus, I’m all for continuing to call Kilgore to the carpet on this silly car tax business, at least until he pays the piper and tells us what we’ll have to give up for it. So far, he’s trending toward the Bush “tax cut and spend” model. If Kaine vs. Kilgore is reduced to Warner vs. Gilmore, I think we’ll be in good shape.
