My friend Eric Riback has started a food blog, Eric’s World of Food. It’s only two days old, but already he’s got commentary on food and food experiences, along with recipes as varied as tomato vinaigrette salad dressing and Frito pie. I suspect I’ll be gathering some new recipes.

Overcrowding and sprawl spread ever outwards from their point of origin. Washington D.C. has sprawled northward to form continuous suburbs clear to New York City, and south to Culpeper.
