Tim Kaine’s got a website.

Lt. Governor Tim Kaine finally has a website for his campaign for governor — it just went live today. It’s not much to look at, but it’s something. It’s only six pages, and that’s generously counting the contact page and blank press page. Bafflingly, there’s no blog (how 1998 of him), the code isn’t valid, the layout doesn’t flex, the width is too great for an 800×600 screen, and, worst of all, the site has no real meat. I keep looking around for the stuff, and not finding anything. Helping nothing, the site is hosted on Windows’ IIS. Dude, get with the program. A Democrat with a site hosted on IIS is like getting bumper stickers printed up without the union bug. It just ain’t right.

Like I said, it’s something. I hope that this is just to meet some goal, a stop-gap measure until a proper site goes up.
