I just got back from a John McCutcheon concert being held a couple of blocks from my place, at The Lyric. Well, the first half of the concert, anyhow — I have a hacking cough, a result of the lingering effects of flu, and people were giving me dirty looks. I thought that I had it rough with my mother’s regular embarrassing revelations of my various failings and childhood misadventures, but, damn…my boy Will McCutcheon has it way tougher.
