I got nothin’.

I just got the results of my fall course request: I was turned down for 4 of my 6 classes. My barrel-scraping, oh-shit-nothing-is-available 4 classes. Real Estate Law. I was turned down for a freaking real estate class. I was turned down for Judicial Process, the one and only course out of the six that is specifically required for my degree. I need to take another six credits in the political science department, but there is not one class available that I haven’t taken. They’re all full. The budget for VT, as a part of the budget for Virginia, has been so starved (cut by 25%) that classes simply aren’t available. My professors were right when they said last fall that it now takes five years to graduate from a Virginia university.

Jim Gilmore can eat me.
