Ding dong.

I finally did it: on Friday, I got sick of my next door neighbor [1,2,3,4], and I sent a letter to my landlord, detailing the antics with which I’ve put up, serious noise problems and otherwise. Today, I got a call — they’re be kicking him out. The owner of Blueridge Realty, who owns this building, stopped by my apartment an hour ago to apologize for the trouble (of course, he had nothing to apologize for), and to show me the eviction notice that he was about to deliver to my neighbor.

Very impressive. I had considered finding a new place to live when my lease is up in August, but after such a great response from Blueridge, I’m not going anywhere. When my rocket scientist of a neighbor, Jessie, is gone in thirty days, things are going to be a great deal nicer around here.
