No sweat.

Yesterday afternoon, the act of grocery shopping left me physically and mentally exhausted. When I got home, I couldn’t even unpack the frozen foods — I just slumped down on the couch and sat for a half hour. Having been sick all week, I wasn’t surprised, but it was bothersome.

Last night, I got over ten hours of sleep. I woke two hours later than I had intended to, my sheets soaked and my skin glistening with sweat. I looked like hell, but after a shower I realized that I felt much, much better. I’m still sick — stuffed up nose, headache, etc., but I can function. I went to class this afternoon and participated, I have an appetite again, my brain is functioning at about 90%, I’ve even laughed a couple of times. (At my own private jokes, but whatever.) Hopefully by Monday, I’ll be back to normal.
