Flash flood warning.

The National Weather Service just issued a flash flood warning — creeks and rivers have jumped their banks, leadning to widespread flooding throughout Montgomery County (where I live.) Something like 8.5 inches of rain have fallen since early this afternoon. The warning is in effect until 3:45am, and we’re all supposed to move to higher ground. I hope that living on the second and third stories qualifies as “higher ground.”

I wonder if I should go take a walk and see what’s what?
