Crackmonkey legislator.

Delegate Bob Marshall, who has been making news because he strong-armed James Madison University into ceasing to distribute certain types of contraceptives, has set his sights on UVa. This rocket scientist has decided that he knows better than science — life doesn’t begin when a blastocyst implants itself in the wall of the uterus, but the moment that sperm enters an egg. Upon this event occuring, Marshall thinks that college students should then be forced to bear a child, should one come of the meeting of egg and sperm. Nevermind that this is not, in fact, the definition of pregnancy. I would like to take him into a in vitro fertilization lab and watch him just melt down. The man would probably want to declare each of the 1 nm cell clusters US citizens or something.

Anyhow, when he was screwing with JMU, he wasn’t my problem so much. But Charlottesville? He’s mine.
