Moon food.

For months now, I’ve gotten a wedge of brie every time that I’ve gone grocery shopping. No matter how little money that I have, I always get at least a sliver of imported, aged brie. It’s my one food luxury. Amber and I went to a different grocery story on Monday night, and they only had (I swear I’m not making this up) rindless brie. This was touted as if it was some kind of feature.

There was only one thing to do: branch out. Almost at random, I grabbed a $4 wedge of gorgonzola. Damn this is a tasty cheese.

I don’t make much of a beer or wine connoisseur, though not for lack of trying. I don’t like coffee or most liquor, and so I’m not likely to learn much on that front. But cheese? That I can do. I now aspire to be a bona fide cheese geek.
