  • 2000 Olympic medalist Dong Fangxiao has been stripped of her medal, after an IOC investigation has determined (a decade later) that she was 14 years old, two years too young to compete. Maybe come 2018, they'll finally figure out that those little girls competing for China in 2008 were also underage.

  1. I think she’s suggesting that you mention the blog, “Arlington Yupette” because it is “progressive and awesome.” Not really sure why you’d mention it, though. Also, I’m not sure I’d agree with the “awesome” bit.

  2. Leaving aside the fact that the writing sucks (tap-dancing baby Jesus on crutches! You make Ben Tribbet’s writing look scholarly!) — come on, now, Janet. Two of the hyperlinks under your “links” section still read “edit me.”

    The blog you’re pimping may be neither progressive nor awesome, but it could at least be finished.
