Not ’til the Democrats grow some balls.
No, because the Republicans won’t hesitate to use the nuclear option next time.
The nuclear option will never be used, just a threat. Nobody wants to be on the wrong side of it, and they know no majority is permanent.
Republicans won’t need to use the nuclear option if they get the majority, because Democrats aren’t disciplined enough to stay united the way Republicans do. The current trouble is more about Republicans being much better obstructionists than Democrats have been in the past than about Democrats being worse leaders.
