There are some just hilarious comments from little kids here. Don't read this any place where you're not free to cry with laughter.

Some Swedish food manufacturers and restaurants have started to label the amount of CO2 emissions generated by the production process. It's a purely voluntary effort to inform customers. A hamburger requires the emission of four times more carbon dioxide than a chicken sandwich, at least in Sweden. Like nutritional information, some customers are interested in this information, and some are not. I know I'd really value having that data about the products I buy.

They dimpled an entire Ford Tauruus and got an 11% increase in fuel economy. Very impressive. I would absolutely have a dimpled car for that kind of energy savings.

This open source, command-line program takes ASCII art diagrams and converts them into purty graphic flowcharts. This is of limited value, but as an exercise, it's impressive!

Some marathon runners are unhappy that other runners take a long time to finish, because it sullies the name of the sport. If only there was some sort of a metric that they could use, some number, say, that would indicate that they'd finished in a smaller amount of time than others… Jerks.
