This would have been such an easy race for the RT-D's editorial staff to unveil a fresh willingness to admit that sometimes -- maybe in tough times -- genuine talent has to trump staying true to an ideological school. Watching the Republican blame-fest after Warner's landslide win will be entertaining and perhaps edifying.
