I spotted my first-ever sun dog today, high over Charlottesville:
The day that I moved to Blacksburg, a double rainbow hung over the town. The next time that I spotted one was 16 months later, hanging over the town again, the day I moved back to Charlottesville.
I didn’t know those things had names. Thanks to your post, now I know!
