Grants for news-related digital projects.

The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation is running a competition to give away $5M in grants “for great new digital projects that will improve news and for people in specific geographic communities.” The entry deadline is October 15.

  1. Uh, is there supposed to be content on that site somewhere? It’s just a picture of the sun reading a newspaper, with a city below. Presumably someone didn’t bother testing whatever stupid unnecessary complication they’re using on Firefox, or Linux, or something. I can’t be bothered to trawl through the source to see where they meant to send me.
