Harry Jaquith Landers.

- My brother‘s son, a few hours after his birth on Sunday. 8 lbs, 15.5 ozs, ten fingers and ten toes.

Great family name. Good to hear everyone is doing well.

Is this your first uncle experience?
Nope. Harry has a three-year-old sister, Ida.

Congrats Uncle Waldo, is his whole name Harry Jaquith Smith-Landers?
(I was just reading the braclet)

Perlogik,
No, it’s my wife who occasionally hyphenates. UVa puts a bracelet with the mother’s name on the baby. Just one part of an extensive system intended to prevent another baby mix-up like that notorious incident about 10 years ago.

Sweet jeebus, how often I’ve been there. And there’s another on the way later this year. Not that I’m complaining, it’s fun to torture them and then send them home. I just fear the payback when I start having the kids…

That is the 4th best looking baby I’ve ever seen. (My three babies, sorry, rank 1, 2, and 3.) Congrats, Waldo et al.

Wow. What a great looking newborn! He’s even bigger than my son was…by 1/2 an ounce. :)
