Judge Dotson.

The House and the Senate today passed, respectively, HR53 and SR44, which read:

RESOLVED by the Senate, That the following persons are hereby nominated to be elected to the respective general district court judgeships as follows:

[...]

Chadwick S. Dotson, Esquire, of Wise, as a judge of the Thirtieth Judicial District for a term of six years commencing February 1, 2007.

My heartiest of congratulations to Chad, the state’s first blogger-turned-judge. Perhaps the first blogger turned judge…period.
