I’m guessing that excludes Microsoft Outlook, eh? Damn.
As an aside, I love that the Macintouch site design has remained virtually unchanged over the last decade. I used to visit it on a daily basis back when I still had a Mac.
I had Outlook in mind when I wrote that. :) Last I checked, Outlook still didn’t have spam filtering. The mind boggles.
The spamming technique works by using image attachments that are then referred to by the HTML part of the email — embedded images. So, this anti-spam measure will also take out Aunt Janet’s constant stream of cute kitten pictures — a win/win situation!
