Google Earth’s district boundaries.

Google Earth now includes congressional district boundaries. I noticed this when I fired it up a couple of days ago. This is a fantastically useful feature.

  1. Google Earth continues to amaze. The resolution of the images in many areas continues to get better, the various tools included are very useful, and the novelty of finding some nostalgic location or oddity never wears off. I could have used this a few years ago; it can be challenging when living close to a district border figuring out which district to vote in. I must say though that I am surprised no competitors have stepped up to take on Google Earth yet.

  2. Wow, I’d never spotted congressional boundaries, Kenton. Perhaps it’s like so many other great little features in there that I’ve probably never noticed — they just had to call attention to it to get us all excited. :)
