I hate those things. Even with a paper reciept on how one voted.. sabotage could still easily happen. It would be difficult to prove- and no one would want to admit it happened.
A better system would be a variation to the punchcard system which I think is called “Ink-a-dot” instead of the metal paperclip thingie used to punch through the ballot- you instead have a small similarly shaped item that leaves an ink dot on the paper ballot. With the “Ink-a-Dot” system everything else (including the ballot forms) are basically the same as in the punch card type.
