Finches caught evolving.

Galapagos finch species, discovered by Darwin, has evolved smaller beaks in the past twenty years due to competition from a new species. The creatures of the Galapagos are under intense scrutiny, which is presumably why Geospiza fortis was caught in the act of evolving.

  1. FYI, even the most ardent creationists would have no issue with this. This sort of adaption is a far cry from the notion of a worm turning into a cow or a frog into an elephant.
