What percentage of those media outlets who reported on George W. Bush's "opposition" to the national anthem in Spanish will now report the fact that he himself gleefully sung a version of the anthem in Spanish when it suited his political purposes?

What percentage of the pundits who praised Bush for his "stand" on the "anthem issue" will now call him a flip-flopper, a political opportunist who "supported" the Spanish version of the anthem when it suited his political goals, but who now "opposes" it because that opposition suits his political agenda now?

Um...my bet? Zero percent.

With the current political team, if some manufactured "outrage" makes some people's blood boil, it's a safe bet that's the only part of it they care about. Accuracy, honesty, consistency -- those never enter into it.
