Summit attendees, speakers.

I’ve just heard about three of the legislators who will be attending the Blog Summit: Del. Bob Brink, Del. Chris Saxman, and Del. Kris Amundson. All three are not just legislators, but also bloggers, of course — Saxman on VACostCutting, Brink and Amundson on on Extra Innings. I understand that a number other legislators are looking to attend, but I’m not cool enough to know about all that.

A couple of workshop leaders have been confirmed now, too. Jon Henke, of QandO, will be on the “Enhancing & Promoting Your Blog” panel. QandO has, quite unusually, a blog that runs on custom-made software. It’s also quite well-known, of course — they’ve done a great job of promoting themselves. Also, Kenton Ngo, of 750 Volts, has agreed to lead the “Blogging 101” workshop. I’m particularly excited about this—Kenton’s a smart guy, and I think he’ll do a great job of teaching people how to jump on into the blogosphere.

There are a half dozen other workshop leaders who, at some point in the past few months, have indicated a willing to speak who are in various stages of working out if they can do it. Here’s hoping everybody’s available—it’d be a great bunch.
