  1. 66 people!?!?! Wow. It’s clear to me that this event was well planned. We’ll probably break 100. That’s not even a conference anymore…that’s a mega-conference. Do you even have room for all of these people?

    Kudos on this event.

  2. Do you even have room for all of these people?

That’s one of those delightful things (like nearly everything about this) about which I can say: I dunno. That’s Sorensen’s problem. :)

  3. LOL, and of course, with my last name… I’m the last on the list! *heh*

I’m looking forward to meeting y’all (see? I can speak “Su’thn”)… and am assuming dress will be casual (HEY! I’m a girl… *snicker*) but not slovenly?

Gotta break out my NEW jeans… Oh, OK, maybe I’ll even pack some nice slacks… ;-)

Thanks for all your work Waldo – it looks like it’ll be a success!

Hmm. I hadn’t thought about that. Looking at last year’s pictures, I see that most guys were wearing button-down shirts and slacks, with a few (like Chad) in fancier duds. The women wore everything from jeans and long-sleeved t-shirts to skirts and blouses.

I ain’t done nothin’. I just blog about it. Sorensen does everything. :)

  5. My standard uniform in the summer:

T shirt, Shorts,Tennies (Some people consider me retired, but I have never been busier!)

Probably will wear something nicer, but one doesn’t have to dress up to blog, or garden. :) Then again, with some exceptions, I have met quite a few of the people coming, so I am not out to impress anyone.

I have it…. better khakis, button shirt, tennies.

And something less dressy for the carousing.

  6. Waldo –

DEFINITELY too few pics *giggle*…! I’ll help you explode the assortment for this year… I *love* to take photos, and I can upload them *VERY* easily….

Anyone wants pics? Find me, and I’ll take ’em!!!

  7. Count me excited. I’m looking forward to meeting the VA bloggers. The extra day should give us a better opportunity to actually get to know each other a little bit.

Y’know, this time, instead of name tags, they ought to have Blog Tags. I “know” most of these people better by their blog, than by their name.

There were actually about eighty pictures that Sorensen took, but since they were all taken over the span of ~15 minutes, they all consist of small groups of people talking. Not real exciting. :) This time we should set up a Flickr group so everybody can share their pictures.

I’ll pass that on that to Sorensen — it sure makes sense to me.

  9. I’m sorry to hear that, Alton, though I sure appreicate your consideration. I hope y’all have a Southside gathering of bloggers (and blog-readers) before long. If there’s anything I can do to facilitate that, please don’t hesitate to ask.
