Scary thing is that it could get even worse… so perhaps calling him the worst president in history is premature - what does that leave us? “Worstest?”

I’m a student of history, and Bush isn’t as bad as the hands down worst president ever: James Buchanan.

We are still one country.

The Worst President in History?

I always thought “Herbert Hoover” had the crown for “Worse president ever.” After all he presided over a chunk of the great depression. I’m not a GW fan at all, but I’m not ready to hang “Worst Ever” on him yet. If it gets to Nuclear war with Iran.. they I’ll say yep “Worst ever.”

I’m going to give James Buchanan the “Get Out of Jail Free” card. I think civil war was inevitable from the moment the United States started to allow slavery (as opposed to just indentured servituted). After that it civil war was just a matter of time.
