Hope you feel better soon. Being sick is bad enough; being sick during fair weather is just insult to injury,

(Josh, the Calvinist in you needs to brush up on his Calvinism. Mr. Calvin would never suggest that bad outcomes are the result of human misdeeds -- rather, they're predetermined, and part of God's overall plan, which He has thoroughly worked out in His mind.)

Whole would be best. :-)

He could drink it, and it would probably help him get well faster, but it would work faster to heal the conjunctivitis if he squirted a drop or two in both eyes several times a day.

"Okay, don’t freak out on me for saying this, but if you know anyone with a supply of breastmilk handy, it will take care of your pink eye quick as a wink. Seriously. Actually, the stuff is magic for many healing needs. My kids never suffered with pink eye for more than a day or so as a result of using it. I may still have a bit in the freezer if you want to stopy by… :-) "

Does it matter if it's whole, 2% or skim?

Seriously, the above statement makes me think back to the Chris Rock skit where he talks about how his parents always told him to put some "'tussin on it". Broken arm? No problem. Put some breastmilk on it and let it seep into the bone.

I'm not doubting the veracity of the claim...I just have never seen it made before.

This puts me in mind of a time when Gov. Warner was new in the job. He was facing droughts in one part of the state, floods in another. There were fires, a huge traffic crash that closed the Beltway, and then a hurricane. His response, "Well, at least we haven't had locusts. Yet."

Keep your sense of humor, and get well.

When things like this happen to me the Buddhist and the Calvinist in me start up a debate as to whether it's someone I killed in a past life or whether I simply haven't been tithing enough.

Then I get some ointment, say a prayer, and try to sleep.
