The good news is that we’ve all learned to spell “origami.”

After the utter failure of tablet PCs, Microsoft announces…more tablet PCs. With a seven inch screen and two pounds in weight, it conveniently fits in your pocket purse laptop case. And at $600-$1000, it’s a fraction of the same cost as a lot more than the cost of many laptops. Good luck with that, guys.

Yeah, I almost got a tablet. Until I saw the tiny little hinge through which delicate electronics passed, and the tiny screen I would have to work with. No thanks.

Pen: $0.50
Pad of paper: $0.75
Having a $50bil organization convince you to spend hundreds of dollars on a high-tech gadget similar to pen and paper:

PRICELESS.

You know, I just like the feel of a laptop and the satisfying feel of rapid finger strokes on a keyboard if I’m going to be using a small computer type device (although if I’m spending my hard earned fundage on a laptop I’m more likely to go Mac).
